Donation Request

The Denim Coffee is proud to create healthier communities by supporting philanthropic efforts in the following three areas: Eliminating Hunger (food banks), Changing Individual and Family’s Lives (personal and family health) and Healing the Planet (sustainability).

We would love to support all inquiries/causes, however, we must create a sustainable giveback program and budget to selectively support those causes that align with our mission and goals for this program. NOTE: we will review all applications and follow up if you are selected to coordinate a $20 digital gift card. If you do not receive a response, please consider that a non-selection.

All charitable contributions are made at the sole discretion of Denim Coffee. Any organization that discriminates based on gender, race, color, ancestry, national origin, citizenship status, religion, age, marital status (including civil unions), military service, veteran status, pregnancy, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, legally recognized disability, domestic violence victim status or any other characteristic protected by law is ineligible for consideration.

Supporting Our Communities

All requesting applicants, organizations, causes must be located within the geographical areas we operate, specifically Central Pennsylvania. Any inquiries outside this area will not be considered. 

Requesting funding for your community organization? Please review the following guidelines:

• To apply for a donation you need your organization's information which includes the Federal EIN, W-9, a letter of request on your organizations letterhead, and any supporting documents.
• Apply early for your event and allow 6-8 weeks for the process. Requests for events three months or more in advance may not be processed until closer the event.

Donations are limited to one $20 gift card per calendar year per organization.

Donation Guidelines:

• Our main goal with this giveback program is to improve the lives of families, help those in need in our community and support environmental sustainability. 
• Denim Coffee does not allow solicitation at any of our locations, all donation requests must apply through this online application process. This includes requests for: donation collections, information distribution, leafleting, sales, political registration, petitions, and any type of containers/vehicles.
• We are only able to accept requests from registered 501c3 non-profit organizations. Your organization must be able to provide a federal EIN number (please note, an EIN is not a state tax exempt number).
• We will review each request on an individual basis, regardless of previous funding.

• Personal assistance for individuals/families including pageants, trips or financial distress needs
• Third-party donation requests (we prefer to make donations directly to charities)
• Political or election related requests
• Business fundraising or associate recognition
• Building or capital campaigns
• Requests for support outside our area
• Yearbook, theatre production, or other event ads
• Scholarship or Tuition Assistance
• Team or Individual Sports

As a reminder, we will review your submission and if selected we will notify you and email a digital $20 gift card that you can print out. This gift card will be redeemable at any Denim Coffee location by providing the code to the barista.
