Brian Morris is a visionary illustrator who has developed a signature style that dissolves visual boundaries. He is known for his portrayal of people and characters as glass vessels containing entire inner worlds, exploring themes of mortality and lived experiences through a psychedelic lens. Imagery is the primary force in Brian’s works, inviting audiences to visually introspect within.

Brian’s artistic practice of hand-drawn digital illustration crafts visual narratives that strike a delicate balance between the joyful and the terrifyingly surreal. Brian's best-known collections, including "ooo000ooohs!", "INSIDERS", and "Order of the Glass Apes", play on different points of that spectrum, each developing their own dedicated collector bases. 

"ooo000ooohs!" is Brian’s ever-expanding project aimed at putting more people in goood mood. The collaboration with Denim Coffee felt like the perfect partnership in this mission. Delicious coffee is a key part of any morning ritual, Brian hopes you enjoy Goood Mornin’ in yours.

Brian was born and raised in Central Illinois and received his BA in Graphic Design and Art History from Bradley University. He lives and works in Chicago, Illinois. He prefers coffee black and in abundance.

Medium roast with tasting notes of Dark Chocolate, Lemon, Nutmeg.

This coffee is sourced from family owned farms organized around Cooperativa Multifuncional Family Coffee R.L. (COMULFAC), a cooperative founded in 2013. COMULFAC members live within the department of Jinotega, Nicaragua. Farmers cultivate coffee on farms that average 4 to 100 acres in size and they use their own micro-mill to process harvested cherries, which allows for meticulous care in depulping, fermenting, and drying the coffee. COMULFAC was established with assistance from J&M Family (a privately owned export company in Jinotega), which has been purchasing coffee from these farmers for several years. The idea behind establishing a cooperative model was to help the farmers organize their efforts and combine their resources to develop social projects aimed at improving the quality of life in their communities.

We roast and ship Tuesdays, order by Monday at midnight for each Tuesday's roast.
